Access Shift combines continuous WCAG 2.2 AA scanning with a runtime remediation widget — built to help teams work toward accessibility goals honestly, without overselling what software can do.
Teams who build for the web deserve tools that are straight with them about what automation can and cannot achieve. We started Access Shift because too much of the accessibility-overlay market leans on promises — "one-click compliance," "lawsuit-proof," "fully accessible" — that no automated product can keep.
Our goal is to deliver genuine, measurable improvement to the technical web-content criteria of WCAG 2.2 AA while being clear about the limits — and to give you evidence you can put in front of auditors, procurement, and your legal team.
One line of JavaScript, then an ongoing loop: find issues, patch what can be patched safely at runtime, and keep the evidence trail current as your site changes.
The Scale and Custom plans also include hand-written testing and validation by accessibility experts (yearly on Scale, on-demand on Custom), because the most defensible programs pair automation with human review.
No compliance guarantees. Access Shift is an accessibility automation tool, not a legal certification, and no automated tool can guarantee conformance with any accessibility law on its own. You will not find guarantees of "full" coverage or immunity from litigation anywhere in our product or marketing — and if you ever do, treat it as a mistake superseded by our Terms of Service and Accessibility Statement.
Automation plus people. Runtime remediation cannot fix every issue. Meaningful sequence, complex cognition, and the quality of alternative text for nuanced imagery all need human judgment — so we recommend pairing Access Shift with periodic source-level audits and manual testing by people who use assistive technologies.
One honest baseline. We measure against WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Because it is a superset of the web-content technical requirements referenced by many laws, targeting it helps you work toward the criteria behind the ADA, Section 508, the European Accessibility Act (via EN 301 549), Ontario's AODA, and the Accessible Canada Act — from a single baseline rather than five separate checklists.
Access Shift is built by Access Shift LLC, based in Sparks, NV, USA. We believe a company asking you to trust it with compliance work should be easy to look up — so here is who we are.
